Owning and operating a beauty salon requires daily face-to-face interaction with customers and employees of your salon. We are looking for franchise owners who are outgoing, able to bond quickly with their customer base, and who possess strong customer service skills.
Operating a Shubh Beauty location requires effectively managing staff schedules to cover customer appointments and walk-in services, as well as managing the inventory needed for the services offered. Franchisee owners must have good time and schedule management skills.
Operating a service-based business depends on personal reputation and commitment to the customer. Our franchisees should have a strong commitment to excellence, honesty, and integrity in operating their business and in all they do.
Shubh Beauty Salons may be located in a Walmart store or in a leased location on a non-Walmart property. If the location will be inside a Walmart, the franchisee will operate under our sublease for Walmart locations.
We recommend between 300 and 1,000 square feet of space for operating a Shubh Beauty location.
You must hold a cosmetology license in your state of operation or hire a general manager who holds a current license.
An initial three-day training covering all aspects of running a beauty salon will be offered for the franchisee and up to two other people at our headquarters location in Chicago or other designated location. Ongoing support will also be available as you open your salon.
